The announcement bar allows you to display important messages, promotions, announcements, or any other relevant information to your customers. Set up on the left panel of theme, the number of Announcements you want to see on pages.
You can use the announcement bar to highlight special offers, upcoming sales, shipping updates, new product launches, or any other significant updates you want your customers to be aware of.
The appearance and behavior of the announcement bar can be easily customized in the theme editor.
Exception
Merchants have the flexibility to adjust the order of the Announcement Bar and Header section on their website. However, in order to view the changes, they need to uncheck the “Transparent Header” option. This is because when the header is set to transparent, it merges with the banner section, making it difficult to visualize the rearrangements. By unchecking the “Transparent Header” option, merchants can clearly see the updated order of the Announcement Bar and Header sections and make any necessary adjustments to their desired configuration.
How to access the Announcement bar section
Access this section through the theme customizer:
- Navigate to Online Store > Themes
- Select “Customize” on your active theme
- On any theme template, click “Add section”
- Search and select “Announcement bar”

How to configure the Announcement bar section
Basic Components
The “Announcement bar” section consists of two primary components:
- General settings – These control the overall settings of the section. Navigate to article in this category “General settings (Announcement bar)”
- Block – Each block has its own individual settings.
