Short info (Rich text section)
The rich text section in Shopify allows you to add custom text content to your store pages. This section provides a user-friendly text editor that lets you add headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and buttons.
With the rich text section, you can create engaging content for your customers, such as brand stories.
How to access the Rich text section
Access this section through the theme customizer:
- Navigate to Online Store > Themes
- Select “Customize” on your active theme
- On any theme template, click “Add section”
- Search and select “Rich text”
To insert a new section between existing ones, follow the steps in the article "Add a section"
How to configure the Rich text section
Basic Components
The “Collection list” section consists of two primary components:
- General settings – These control the overall settings of the section.
Settings in this category are divided into subsections, with each article corresponding to a heading found in the General settings.
- Style and column width settings
- Heading settings
- Text settings
- Button settings
- Block settings
- Section settings
- Block – Each block has its own individual settings.
Navigate to articles in this category:
- Heading block
- Text block
The “Rich text” section allows you to customize the Heading and Text blocks by clicking on block after adding.
