Short info (Trending Collections)

The “Trending Collections” feature in Shopify allows you to highlight and promote specific collections of products that are currently popular or trending in your store. This helps draw attention to those collections and encourages customers to explore and make purchases from them.

For this section, you will need to have created a collection of products. For a short guide on how to create a collection, please refer to the article in this documentation titled 'Creating Collections'.

To set up the “Trending Collections” feature, follow these steps:

1) Access the Shopify admin area and navigate to the theme customization panel.

2) Locate the section where you want to display the trending collections and click on it to edit. To insert a new section between existing ones, follow the steps in the article "Add a section"

3) Look for the option to add a new section and select “Trending Collections” from the available section types.

4) Choose the collections that you want to feature as trending. You can select multiple collections to showcase.

The “Trending Collections” section allows you to customize the Collection block by clicking on block after adding. To insert a new block between existing ones or to add a block when none have been added yet, refer to the article "Add a block" and locate the section titled “How to add a block.”

5) Customize the display settings, such as the number of collections shown, the layout style, and any additional design options available.

6) Preview the section to ensure it appears as desired. Make any necessary adjustments until you are satisfied.

7) Save your changes and publish the theme to make the “Trending Collections” section visible on your store's frontend.
