Search banner


Setting Description
Banner color scheme

Choose an appropriate color scheme for the banner from the schemes list. The color scheme includes different colors for the background, heading, breadcrumbs, and other elements in the banner.

*Applying a color scheme automatically updates all associated colors set in the theme settings according to the created color schemes. You can edit colors in this block, but it will impact the other sections and blocks in which the same color scheme is used.  Learn more about color schemes.

Show breadcrumbs By enabling this option, breadcrumbs will be displayed on the search banner, providing navigation links to help visitors back to main page – homepage.

Show breadcrumbs above section

Note: Use this option when the page is not included to the list of pages with transparent header.

Toggle this option to display breadcrumbs above the banner as a separate element.

When disabled, breadcrumbs will appear inside the banner above the heading.

Background image You can add an image to display it as a background in the banner.
Show image on right side

Enable this option to place the image on the right side of the section with content on the left.

When disabled, the image will cover the content.

Image block size

Choose the size for the image block when option “Image on right side” is turned on.

  • Half-Width: The image occupies half the width of the section.
  • One-Third Width: The image occupies one-third of the section's width.
  • Two-Third Width: The image occupies two-thirds of the section's width.
Banner height

Select the height of the banner:

  • Default: The height is determined by the content, taking into account the section paddings, which can be adjusted as needed.
  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
Hide border radius
  • Enable: Makes the banner's borders straight.
  • Disable: Rounds the banner's borders.
Heading size

The heading size setting offers three options to control the size of the heading:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Extra large
Text size

Choose the font size for description:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large

Note: Font sizes for all body text across the site can be adjusted in the Typography tab under Theme Settings.

Heading alignment

You have three alignment options for the heading to choose from:

  • Left: Aligns the heading to the left side of the section.
  • Center: Aligns the heading to the center of the section.
  • Right: Aligns the heading to the right side of the section.
Heading This option allows you to add a custom heading. It will replace the main heading. Simply enter the desired text in the field.
Text This field is for adding text after the title to place additional important info in the banner. In the top menu of the field, you can find options to customize the text such as making it bold, italic, or adding a hyperlink. Furthermore, you can click the dynamic source button to insert a dynamic source for the featured collection description.
Desktop content position

Use this option to adjust the position of content on banner. Combine it with top and bottom padding adjustments for optimal results.

  • Top
  • Center
  • Bottom
Image overlay opacity The “Image overlay opacity” setting allows you to adjust the transparency of the overlay that is applied to images on your website. Use the slider to make changes in banner image.
Use secondary color for text Toggle this option to apply the secondary text color, as defined in the Colors tab of the Theme Settings, within a specific color scheme.
Full width section Enable this option to expand the section to occupy the entire width of the screen.
Section background color Sets the color of the section when the block is not full width.

Banner padding


Setting Description
Top padding The 'Top padding' setting allows you to adjust the amount of space at the top of the banner after the banner using a slider. 
Bottom padding The 'Bottom padding' setting functions similarly to the “Top padding” setting, but controls the space at the bottom of the banner.

Color scheme

Number of columns on desktop The “Number of columns on desktop” setting allows you to select the number of columns in which your content will be displayed on larger screens, and on tablets. You can select from 1 to 5.
Number of columns on mobile

Select the preferred column layout for mobile devices:

  • 1 column
  • 2 columns

Setting Description
Label:
Font size

Choose the navigation label font size:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
Font weight

Choose the navigation label font weight:

  • Regular
  • Medium
  • Semi bold
  • Bold
Text style

Choose the navigation label text style:

  • Body: The text will appear in the default font style, as it appears in the body content.
  • Capitalize: The first letter of each word will be capitalized.
  • Uppercase: All letters will be displayed in uppercase.
Filter summary:

Font weight

Choose the filtering items headings font weight:

  • Regular

Filtering and Sorting


Settings Description 
Enable filtering Mark the checkbox and at the top of the collection, you will see a filter with price, color, size, and availability.
Desktop filter layout

We have three filter layouts:

  • Horizontal
  • Vertical
  • Drawer

Try each of them and select according to your preferences.

Filter color scheme

Choose an appropriate color scheme for filter block from the schemes list. The color scheme includes different colors for the background, heading, breadcrumbs, and other elements in the banner.

Enable sorting  Check the checkbox to enable sorting at the top of the collection (with a 'Sort By' dropdown list).
Sorting color scheme Select a color scheme for the “Sort By” button.
Sorting drawer color scheme Select a color scheme for the “Sort By” options. This color scheme will apply to the dropdown menu that allow customers to sort products based on various criteria, such as price, popularity, or newest arrivals.

Setting Description
Image ratio

The “Image ratio” setting allows you to control how images are displayed on your website based on their width-to-height ratio. You have several options to choose from:

  • Adapt to image: This option uses the aspect ratio of the images, ensuring that they are not cropped and displayed in their original dimensions.
  • Portrait: This option crops the images to use a 2:3 ratio, creating a taller appearance with a width that is 2/3 of its height.
  • Square: This option crops the images to use a 1:1 ratio, creating a square-shaped display with equal width and height.
Show second image on hover You can see the second image on hover if on the detail page of this product are 2 or more images in the list.
Show vendor Show the vendor of the products under the image. 
Show product rating Displays the average product rating in stars with the number of reviews in parenthesis, for example: ★★★★★ (8). Also requires a product review app such as Shopify Product Reviews, and Metafield definitions for reviews.rating_count and reviews.rating.
Show quick add button Mark the checkbox to give customers the opportunity to add the product to their cart by hovering over the image and clicking the “Add To Cart” button, or to see more product details by clicking the “Quick View” button.

Blog card


Setting Description
Show date Enable this option to display the publication date of the blog post.
Show author Enable this option to display the author's name of the blog post.
Label for post link Enter the label for link to blog detail page (post). However, if you remove the text, the button won't be visible under each blog post.

Section padding


Setting Description
