Scrolling text settings

This guide describes the Scrolling Text section.

Use this section to add a dynamic area with moving or scrolling content to a page. You can configure it to display:

Scrolling text only
Scrolling text with icons
Icons only, scrolling in a loop

This section is great for showcasing announcements, features, brand values, or partner logos in an eye-catching way.

The main feature of this section is the ability to adjust both the scroll speed and scroll direction.

How to access the Scrolling text section

Access this section through the theme customizer:

Navigate to Online Store > Themes
Select “Customize” on your active theme
On any theme template, click “Add section”
Search and select “Scrolling text”

To insert a new section between existing ones, follow the steps in the article "Sections and blocks" and locate the section titled “How to add a section”.

How to configure the Scrolling text section

Basic Components

The “Scrolling text” section consists of two primary components:

General settings – These control the overall settings of the section.
Block – Each block has its own individual settings.

Available block types include:

To insert a new block between existing ones or to add a block when none have been added yet, refer to the article "Sections and blocks" and locate the section titled “How to add a block”.

General settings

Select a setting described in the following table:

Settings	Description
Color scheme	A color scheme consists of a predefined set of colors you can apply to this section for consistent styling. These schemes are created in the Theme Settings and are available across all sections, making customization faster and ensuring a cohesive color system throughout your store. Scroll speed	The scroll speed slider allows you to adjust the speed of Scrolling text.
Scroll direction	Specify the direction in which the element should scroll: Left Right
Rotate	Specify the rotation angle in degrees.
Text font	In the Typography section of the theme settings, you can assign different font families for headings and body text. This option allows you to choose which font family to use for scrolling text. Simply select your preferred style: Heading or Body.
Text size	Adjust the size of the scrolling text on desktop using the slider. This helps you select the most suitable size for your desktop design.
Text size mobile	Adjust the size of the scrolling text on mobile using the slider. This helps you select the most suitable size for your mobile design.
Spacing between blocks	You can adjust space between blocks on desktop: few scrolling text, scrolling text and icons and only icons.
Spacing between blocks mobile	You can adjust space between blocks on mobile: few scrolling text, scrolling text and icons and only icons.
Block padding	Adjust the spacing (padding) inside the block around its content.
Block padding mobile	Set custom padding for the block on mobile devices to improve spacing and readability.

Section padding

Setting	Description
Top padding	The 'Top padding' setting allows you to adjust the amount of space at the top of the section using a slider.
Bottom padding	The 'Bottom padding' setting functions similarly to the “Section top padding” setting, but controls the space at the bottom of the section.
Top padding mobile	The 'Top padding (Mobile)' setting allows you to adjust the amount of space at the top of the section specifically for mobile devices, using a slider.
Bottom padding mobile	The 'Bottom padding mobile' setting works similarly to the 'Top padding mobile' setting but controls the space at the bottom of the section for mobile devices.
