Setting Description
Show breadcrumbs By enabling this option, breadcrumbs will be displayed above the page banner, providing navigation links to help visitors back to main page – homepage.
Heading size

The heading size setting offers four options to control the size of the heading:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Extra large
Heading capitalization
  • Uppercase: Displays the heading in all capital letters.
  • Default: Keeps the original text formatting.
Banner alignment
  • Left: Aligns content to the left.
  • Center: Centers the content.
  • Right: Aligns content to the right.

Search results


Setting Description
Number of columns on desktop The “Number of columns on desktop” setting allows you to select the number of columns in which your products, blog cards, and pages will be displayed on larger screens, and on tablets. You can select from 1 to 5.

Filtering and sorting


Setting Description
Enable filtering

Slide the button to the right to activate filtering. Once enabled, you’ll see a filter option appear at the top of the search page, right after the search field.

You can add or modify filter options through the Shopify Admin under the Search & Discovery App in the Filters section.

Desktop filter layout

We have three filter layouts:

  • Horizontal
  • Vertical
  • Drawer

Try each of them and select according to your preferences.

Enable sorting  Slide the button to the right to enable sorting at the top of the product grid template (with a 'Sort By' dropdown list).

Product card

Setting Description
Image ratio

The “Image ratio” setting allows you to control how images are displayed on your website based on their width-to-height ratio. You have several options to choose from:

  • Adapt to image: This option uses the aspect ratio of the images, ensuring that they are not cropped and displayed in their original dimensions.
  • Portrait: This option crops the images to use a 2:3 ratio, creating a taller appearance with a width that is 2/3 of its height.
  • Square: This option crops the images to use a 1:1 ratio, creating a square-shaped display with equal width and height.
  • Landscape: This option crops the images to use a 3:2 ratio, creating a wider appearance with a width that is 1.5 times the height.
Show gallery preview Enable this option to display a preview of the product’s image gallery on hover. This feature works only if the product has more than one image, and will display a maximum of three images.
Show type

Click “Show type” to display the product type on product cards in this section.

Note: The product type must first be added on the product page in the admin.

Show vendor

Click “Show vendor” to display the product vendor on product cards in this section.

Note: The product vendor must first be added on the product page in the admin.

Show product rating Displays the average product rating in stars with the number of reviews in parenthesis, for example: ★★★★★ (8). Also requires a product review app such as Shopify Product Reviews, and Metafield definitions for reviews.rating_count and reviews.rating.
Quick add

If you activate the Quick add option, then your customers can add an item to their cart from the product card. Choose from the following options:

  • None: No quick add feature is displayed.
  • Standard: Displays one of the following quick add buttons on product cards:
    • Add to cart: For single-variant products. When a customer clicks the button, the product is automatically added to their cart.
    • Choose options: For products with variants. When a customer clicks the button, a pop-up dialog displays for them to make their variant selection and then proceed with the purchase.
  • Bulk: Displays the Quick order list functionality.
Show color swatch Enable the toggle to show color swatches on product in the section.
Swatch variant name f the variant option name on the product page differs from the default “Color”, enter the custom name here to ensure swatches are displayed correctly on product cards.

Note: To add color swatches, see the article Creating and editing product and locate the “Add Color Swatches” section.


Blog card  


Blog card styles also apply to page cards in search results. To change card styles, update your theme settings.

Setting
Description
Show featured image (For best results, use an image with a 3:2 aspect ratio).

Swipe the button to the right to showcase the featured image from the blog post page to the homepage or other pages. If left unchecked, date, heading, and read more button, will be visible without image.

Also, we can add author, excerpt, comments to show them on a card.

Featured image height

Adjust the height of the featured image:

  • Adapt to image
  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
Show excerpt

Display a portion of the blog post's content as a brief description.
Show date

Enable this option to display the publication date of the blog post.
Show date icon
Enable to display a calendar icon next to the publication date.
Date color scheme
Choose a color scheme for the date to match your theme’s style.
Show author

Enable this option to display the author's name of the blog post.
“Read more” button

Enter a label to direct customers to the blog detail page.

Mobile layout 


Setting Description
Number of columns on mobile

Choose how products, blog cards, pages are displayed on mobile devices:

  • 1 Column: Displays cards in a single-column layout for a simple and focused view.
  • 2 Columns: Splits cards into two columns for a compact and organized layout.

Section padding


Setting Description
Top padding The 'Top padding' setting allows you to adjust the amount of space at the top of the section using a slider. 
Bottom padding The 'Bottom padding' setting functions similarly to the “Section top padding” setting, but controls the space at the bottom of the section. 
Top padding mobile The 'Top padding mobile' setting allows you to adjust the amount of space at the top of the section specifically for mobile devices, using a slider.
Bottom padding mobile The 'Bottom padding mobile' setting works similarly to the 'Top padding mobile' setting but controls the space at the bottom of the section for mobile devices.
