Gift metafield — Create Metafield
Steps:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Click Metafields and metaobjects
- Click Products metafield definitions.
- Click Add definition button.
- Create product wrapper metafield (Enter name and choose type)
- Navigate to each product where gift wrap should be available, and in the “Product Wrapper” field, enter
True.
- Navigate to Theme customizer/Product detail page/Product information template/Gift wrapping block and in Gift metafield paste name of metafield “Product wrapper”.
Note: To display this block, you first need to create a Gift Wrap product. Then:
- Navigate to Theme Settings in the theme customizer.
- Go to the Cart section.
- In Gift Wrapping Product, select and add the product you created.
